Greg Rudd currently lives 30 percent of his time in China and the Asia-Pacific Region and 70% of his time in Australia. In December 2010, Mr Rudd returned to Australia after several years in China to start a political lobbying consultancy based in Canberra called GPR Services.

Greg and his son Lachlan run a company called GPR Asia (HK) based out of Beijing, with Lachlan based in China full time for the past four years.

In May 2010, Greg and Lachlan formed a joint venture with Australasian Capital, comprised of a team of Australia based ex-investment bankers and corporate advisers.

Australasian Capital GPR and GPR Asia (HK) work with onshore and offshore companies looking for investment/joint venture opportunities or corporate advice in either Australia or the Asia Pacific Region in the areas of resources, infrastructure, power, renewable energy, water and agriculture.

From 1997 to 2007 Greg was owner and Managing Director of Open Door Consulting Pty Ltd, a political lobbying business based in Brisbane, with clients primarily in the resources, construction, finance, property, tourism, infrastructure and charity sectors.

Open Door Consulting assisted clients in issues pertaining to all three levels of government in Australia. Greg also assisted various start-up companies during this period in the Information Technology, Aviation and Biotechnology sectors.

Between 1990 and 1996 Greg was Chief of Staff to a Parliamentary Secretary and Minister in the Hawke/Keating Governments, where he interacted with industry lobby groups, national media, State Governments, Federal Departments and the Australian political process on a regular basis.
